Preparatory of Physical Science & Technology

Tamhidi of Science Physical and Technology aims to provide students from science stream background with high-skilled to be able to enroll into the Bachelor’s degree program particularly in the Faculty of Science and Technology. The specializations that can be chosen after studying in Tamhidi Centre are such as food biotechnology, actuarial science and risk management, security and information assurance, financial mathematics and others under faculties’ accordance with the entry requirements set by the Faculty. Students will not only proficient in science and technology under this programme but it also shapes their personal character, cautious, disciplined, and responsible for the religion, society, and nation parallel with understanding of the integration of Naqli and Aqli knowledge.

    Hanya Warganegara Malaysia yang mempunyai No. Kad Pengenalan / My Kad sahaja yang layak mengemukakan permohonan dan kelayakan seperti berikut:-

  2. Kelayakan SPM untuk kemasukan ke Universiti Awam / Politeknik Premier/Asasi

  • Pemohon mestilah memiliki Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) dengan sekurang-kurangnya Gred C bagi mata pelajaran BAHASA MELAYU.
  • Pemohon mestilah memiliki Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) dengan sekurang-kurangnya Gred E bagi mata pelajaran SEJARAH.
  • Pemohon mestilah memiliki Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) dengan sekurang-kurangnya EMPAT (4) Gred C bagi mana-mana mata pelajaran.

  1. Memperoleh sekurang-kurangnya kepujian (Gred C) dalam MANA-MANA SATU (1) mata pelajaran berikut:
  • Bahasa Arab / Bahasa Arab Tinggi / Bahasa Arab Komunikasi / Al-Lughah al-Arabiah al-Mu’asirah / Turath Bahasa Arab / Al-Adab Wa Al-Balaghah

2. Memperoleh sekurang-kurangnya kepujian (Gred C) dalam MANA-MANA SATU (1) mata pelajaran berikut:

  • Pendidikan Islam / Pendidikan Al-Quran dan As-Sunnah / Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah / Tasawwur Islam / Usul al-Din / Al-Syariah / Hifz Al Quran / Maharat al-Quran / Turath Dirasat Islamiah / Turath Al-Quran dan Al- Sunnah / Manahij Al-‘Ulum Al-Islamiah

3. Memperoleh sekurang-kurangnya kepujian (Gred C) dalam SETIAP mata pelajaran berikut:

  • Fizik
  • Kimia
  • Matematik
  • Matematik Tambahan
  • Bahasa Inggeris

4. Memperoleh sekurang-kurangnya kepujian (Gred C) dalam MANA-MANA SATU (1) mata pelajaran berikut

  • Biologi / Sains / Sains Tambahan / Pengajian Kejuruteraan Awam / Pengajian Kejuruteraan Elektrik & Elektronik / Pengajian Kejuruteraan Mekanikal / Reka Cipta / Lukisan Kejuruteraan / Grafik Komunikasi Teknikal / Asas Kelestarian / Sains Rumah Tangga / Pertanian / Sains Komputer / Prinsip Perakaunan / Perniagaan / Ekonomi / Sains Sukan / Pendidikan Seni Visual / Lukisan / Reka Bentuk Kraf / Pengajian Keusahawanan

1. Passed General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level (O Level) / Equivalent or other qualifications recognized by the University Senate; and

2. Obtained at least grade FIVE C (c) in the subjects below:

a. Physics
b. Chemistry
c. Mathematics / Additional Mathematics / Further Mathematics / International Mathematics
d. English Language

3. Obtained at least grade C- (c-) in the subjects below:

a. Arabic Language
b. ONE (1) subject relating to Islamic Studies

4. Candidates with no physical disability and colour blindness that can restrict the ability to participate in lecture/laboratory activities.
